Let me start by saying that Jason and crew did an excellent job with our counter tops. I felt that each employee was handpicked for their professionalism and courteousness. They were very patient and accommodating with our various requests and fulfilled each one of them. My wife’s pregnant and we wanted to get the work done when we were not home and they worked weekends to satisfy this. When we got back, it was a new kitchen!! They had done a good job cleaning up the place as well. I would definitely call them for our next project.

So far SHI has redone my kitchen and guest bathroom. My house was built in ’82 so being an older home, I was expecting some challenges with the remodel. There were a few, but the folks at SHI handled them with little or no effort. Everything went smoothly.

Everyone that came into my home was polite, professional and very conscientious. And they showed up on time! How refreshing is that? They worked with me on a plan that got me pretty much everything I wanted and that fit my budget. Throughout both projects, anything I wanted fixed, no matter how miniscule, they fixed, no questions asked.

I am definitely not a decorator and didn’t really know what I wanted. They asked some basic questions, we went over a few different layouts, but then they just handled it. And it came out beautifully! I could not be more pleased. I am planning on having them redo my master bath within the next month or so and I cannot wait! I would definitely recommend them to anyone who is wanting a new look in their home.

We LOVE Signature Home Improvements!

My husband and I bought a 36 year old condo in Lakeway with a less than functional kitchen-no counter space, and what was there was not so appealing to the eye, no backsplash, outdated fixtures and so on. Signature Home Improvements did a FANTASTIC job giving out kitchen a beautiful face-lift without breaking the bank. They were challenged by the walls and floors not being level and they just took it in stride. I would highly recommended them to anyone! Our Realtor was extremely impressed with the renovation and so were we. We look forward to using them for additional home improvements in the near future!

We had the great fortune of being referred to Signature by some friends of ours. From our very first visit, we were impressed with each and every employee and their fabrication facility.

If you’re interested in a top-tier remodel, this is the contractor for you! Their complete attention to detail is remarkable. During our remodel, their follow up was fantastic. They left the job site clean every day and received daily phone call status updates.

We now have the kitchen and hall bath we’ve always dreamed of! As soon as possible, we would like to have our master bath done too. There is no question that we will call Signature to do the work.

Fantastic kitchen cabinet tinting

Signature Home Improvement did a fantastic job tinting out 16 year old kitchen cabinets. As many homes with older kitchen cabinets, the cabinets were looking their age. The area around the sink varnish was flaking and the stain was gone. The rest of the cabinets just looked dull. I saw a Signature advertisement in the Elegant living magazine. It mentioned that Signature did cabinet tinting. Our cabinets were all wood and in very good shape so there was no reason to replace them. We also had Silestone counter tops that we wanted to keep. I sent Signature an e-mail to find out what cabinet tinting was. Signature scheduled a time for Jason to drop by and look at the cabinets and explain the process. It was just what we were looking for. Signature kept us informed every step of the way. The office staff would call with information on the project or to let us know when staff needed access to the house. Every Signature employee that worked in the house was professional and curtious. Everyone that worked on our cabinets at the Signature facility and in our house did a fantastic job. The project was completed in two weeks. After the tinting was completed, the doors and drawers installed, and the new hardware added, all we could say was “Wow!”. The cabinets look brand new. We highly recommend Signature Home Improvement.

A DELIGHTFUL EXPERIENCE!

Signature Home Improvements performs the most outstanding work I have ever seen in home remodeling. Not only are all of their employees perfectionists and highly skilled in their particular area, but they are speedy in performing every task. Last month (April) they completed a TOTAL (floor to ceiling) remodel of my kitchen in just TWO WEEKS!! There were a few “tweaks” after the two weeks, but the kitchen was essentially completely finished in two weeks. Every afternoon I would get a call from one of the highly efficient and organized office employees that would tell me who was coming the next morning and what they would be doing. They would always arrive on time. One of the biggest advantages to using SHI is the fact that they don’t use sub-contractors. Jason Flippo, the company president, has 20 employees who are accountable to him so they are extremely responsible and professional. Jason goes out of his way to accommodate the homeowner. When we were selecting granite, he took a few minutes away from his company Christmas party to meet us at the granite store. His kitchen designer, Armanzo, offered fantastic ideas to make my kitchen the most functional and user-friendly that it could possibly be. When the job was finished Armanzo pulled on every hinge and examined the entire kitchen (almost with a magnifying glass!) to be sure everything was perfect. He put “blue tape” in areas that looked just fine to me…..but he had to be totally pleased. I actually plan to carry Signature Home Improvement business cards in my purse so I can hand them out whenever I meet someone who wants a kitchen or bathroom remodel. I have never been this enthusiastic about any other business! It seems that so many people who use other contractors have nightmare stories about the quality and/or the fact that the remodel takes much longer than anticipated. Jason’s crew does not start the remodel until “all their ducks are in a row”. My painted cabinets (soft sage with glaze and beadboard style) were totally finished before the demo started. Each stage of the remodel was perfectly timed. Bottom line: If you want the very best work–ultimate quality at a reasonable cost–Signature Home. Improvements is your company! My husband will be adding photos of my kitchen to these comments soon. I will be happy to show “before” photos and I think my kitchen should be featured on HGTV!

This was a complete transformation of our kitchen, requiring a total demolition of the existing kitchen to make room for new flooring, cabinets, some plumbing and electrical work, and new appliances. Fur-downs that were above the old cabinets were removed requiring wiring to be re-routed to correct original builder shortcuts. We brought in a line for a new gas cooktop (replacing electical). SHI installed new travertine flooring in a Versailles pattern, and we ran this flooring into the dining room and down a hallway past the main entrance to the house. SHI also built and installed custom maple cabinets stained in a color that was custom formulated to match tones in our granite. They cut and installed granite countertops and a travertine backsplash was added above the granite in a brick pattern. SHI also installed 2 new sinks (kitchen & laundry room) and associated plumbing and added a small fixed window between two glass-door cabinets above what is now our beverage center. Finally, SHI added an architectural feature of arches with three columns above the counters that separate the kitchen from the great room. SHI started when they said they would, they held to the schedule they predicted, their workers arrived at the times we were told, got right to work and stayed with it throughout the day. They estimated six weeks; it took about seven but most of that extra week was caused by delays waiting for permits and inspections from the city. The quality of workmanship is excellent. They were always professional and respectful of the fact that we had to live right in the middle of the destruction that this remodel required. All the work was done by craftsmen employed directly by SHI. The only outside contractors that were involved were the gas plumbing and installation of the glass in the three cabinet doors. This was in large part a deciding factor in choosing them and it proved to be of inestimable benefit when issues arose with coordination of specialties and last minute changes. It allowed for a sense of security that if there was a problem it would be taken care of. SHI was not the cheapest of all our bids (we had several) but we felt that having all the workmen employed by the main contractor would be a great advantage and, in the end, we feel this proved to be a great advantage and did enhance the quality of our experience with this project, which was our very first experience with home remodeling. Finally, a bit about working with Jason Flippo, founder of SHI. Once the work began Jason’s day-to-day involvement in our progress became less visible but he was always available, gave us his personal cell phone number, and welcomed our call any time we had a question. He followed up with us frequently to insure we were satisfied, sometimes even on the weekend, asking if we had any concerns, and generally stayed up to date on our level of satisfaction about the work and the performance of all his workers. In addition, on occasions when we had issues about cost, design, approach – anything we were concerned about – he showed sincere interest in resolving our concerns to our satisfaction. Overall, we’re very pleased with SHI and we will use them again when the time comes. We can highly recommend Signature Home Improvements for a kitchen remodel. They were not the cheapest but we feel that in the end, they provided the best value for the money and we are delighted with the results. We love our new kitchen.

Signature did a full kitchen remodel that included removing a wall separating my kitchen from the dining room. They removed the existing cabinets, removed the furdowns where the cabinets were attached, and removed the flooring in the dining room, kitchen, utility room, and entry way. Armando helped us design the cabinets and island. He did a CAD drawing that really helped see the room at every angle. It was incredibly accurate to the finished product. They installed the new cabinets, island, flooring, electrical, plumbing, lights, granite counter tops, and back splash. They patched the drywall and painted the walls, ceiling and baseboards. They did an excellent job and I would recommend them without hesitation. They were trustworthy and reliable.

Our existing kitchen was crowded and poorly designed. I have 3 kids and we couldn’t move around without bumping into each other because the walkways were so narrow. I knew from the beginning, I wanted the wall removed that separated the kitchen and dining room. I knew how I wanted the kitchen to be layed out and I wanted an island. I got 3 bids and decided to go with Signature. I called some references and got positive feedback and I also liked the fact that Signature did the work themselves with minimal contracting out. The whole process dealing with Signature was a positive one from start to finish. They communicated with us every day to tell us who was coming out and what was being done and at the end of each day they cleaned up after themselves. The whole job was finished in 3 weeks. We had only minor changes to the original contract. We decided to go with Cherry wood and needed additional lighting. The whole staff was very friendly and helpful. This being my first remodeling experience, I am so glad I chose Signature and we love our new kitchen!

impecable work/honest people

I am not one to write reviews….but being a single person who has never ventured into the world of home improvements I felt it important to share my incredible experience with Signature Home Improvements. I am very concerned about being taken advantage of when dealing in areas that I am not that educated in. However, the first time i met with Jason I knew right away that he would take care of me and all of concerns and do it honestly as if I was family. I had my complete kitchen re-done. From re-tinting of the cabinets, new backsplash, and granite countertops. Not only was it done QUICKLY..but everything that was promised to me from the beginning to end was done BEYOND my expectations. Not only that, but I changed my mind on a final detail at the last moment and Linda in the office RAN ALL OVER TOWN(literally) to get the final touch to my tile. To say my kitchen is beautiful would be a understatement. That is coming from a person who is beyond critical!! It is stunning…and everyone who came into my house gave me a warm, good feeling. Linda and Savannah in the office were constantly in touch with me and me feel comfortable the whole way through. if you are even considering doing any type of home imporvements. Do NOT hesitate to give signature a call!! In fact I am starting a few other projects with them already!!

In December I contacted SHI as I wanted to change the look of my (14 year old) golden oak kitchen cabinets. They recommended their re-tint process, which was much less expensive than replacing the cabinets. Throughout the work the team was very professional. The results are amazing! My new “cafe” cabinets with added hardware has completely changed the look of my kitchen. I will be coming back to them to update my bathrooms.

Each member of the Signature Home Improvement team is a consummate professional. It was clear from the beginning that they would not be satisfied until we were satisfied. The result was a beautifully remodeled space and a total project experience that far exceeded our expectations. We could not be more pleased.

They were recommended by friends and were everything they said.—- Professional, skilled, pleasant people. They all come with names, introduce themselves, and become part of the family while they are on site. A most pleasant experience compared to the usual building rangling.

The bathrooms were an upgrade/update. A green cast iron tub was removed from downstairs and replaced with tile surround soaking tub and tile floor. The upstairs cast iron tub had to be sledge hammered to be able to get it down the stairs and out. Up now has all tile walkin shower and tile floor. We are very pleased.

They then laid a straight sub-floor for tiling, changed and updated electrical outlets and lighting, installed all-wood cabinets, installed granite counter-tops, laid tile for floor and backsplash, and painted from floor to ceiling. Member Comments:  They were able to complete the entire job in about 30 calendar days. All workers are employees of Signature Home Improvement, and all were courteous and professional. They cleaned up pretty well at the end of each day, and were consistently open to my ideas and suggestions, most of which were included in the original estimate. The workers were excellent craftsmen in their fields. The kitchen designer was extremely helpful from the beginning in generating ideas for design, to being on-site almost every day, to providing last minute touch-up work on the final day. The master tiler had 17 years of experience and was open in sharing his knowledge. The granite cutter was polite and skilled. All carpenters on site were quick but meticulous. The master painter was neat, punctual, and amazingly efficient. The electrician was open and available to last-minute ideas. The ladies in the office called in regularly and actually came on site to see progress. Jason showed flexibility when questions arose. Jason Flippo quoted 8 weeks and the job was completed in that time frame. All of the employees that worked on our job were professional and pleasant to work with. The demo was completed in one day including the removal of the satillo tile floor. The office staff always called and asked us if we had any concerns and let us know when and who would be coming the following day to work. The employees were punctual, hard working and cleaned up after each days work. All of the employees did a great job. Member Comments:  They were very eager to start, prompt, courteous, professional. The entire project went more smoothly than I had anticipated. When we realized that the space set aside for the wine refrigerator wouldn’t allow for the door to open correctly, they customized it on site and switched the cabinet around to get it to fit correctly. It was our mistake that caused the issue and they resolved it immediately which was amazing! When the tiles I had selected proved to be very difficult to install, Bernie, the installer, worked diligently (for about 10 hours) laying each piece by hand…it was way more difficult than we had thought and it came out BEAUTIFULLY! Every day when they finished, they cleaned up the kitchen as best as possible. They took such caution of our hardwood floors and laid covering to not scratch them. When they asked us to tag anything and everything that may need to be touched up-there was nothing left to tag as they had already fixed it themselves! I cannot recommend them enough. Tile and hardwood floors were put in. Member Comments:  In terms of the kitchen redo all went well. They are known for cleaning up every day and that happened except for the painting portion of my job. The popcorn ceilings were removed and the painter forced me to move out of my house for a week. We wanted to find an economical way of redoing our kitchen cabinets. After failing at our manual efforts and searching various solutions, SHI’s proposal sounded best to not only fit our budget, but beautify our kitchen as desired. The results were incredible! We couldn’t be more pleased with the way the kitchen came out. They even had to do little repairs on some drawers as a result of age/damage to ensure they deliver the results we wanted. Definitely recommended.

Signature Homes demonstrated a thorough knowledge of the technical phases of home improvement. The staff provided us with up-to-date status of work being performed. They updated our kitchen in Feb 09 and their excellent managerial ability inspired us to have them design and install custom china cabinetry with 3 halogen interior style lights,crown molding, glass shelves and glass doors in the dining room. Upper and lower cabinets had angled shelving on each end .The base cabinet had a granite top with mirror back splash and 2 electrical outlets. We were pleased that no subcontractors were used. They went above and beyond other contractors that we talked with. The performance of the entire staff is marked by steadfast dedication and devotion to their customers.
